Joanna Ashley Mallett and Geoffrey Bufton Rosen, both of Rogers, Ark., have announced their engagement.

She is the daughter of William and Glennis Mallett of Texarkana, Ark. His parents are Steven Rosen and Sara Bufton-Rosen of Fairway, Kan.

She graduated from Wenatchee High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She is an assistant produce buyer for Sam’s Club division of Wal-Mart in Rogers, Ark.

He graduated from Pembroke Hill High School in Kansas City, Mo. and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Trinity University. He works at Beall Barklay Wealth Management, LLC in Rogers, Ark.

An October 13 wedding at Whitney Mountain Lodge in Garfield, Ark.
