Virtual academy will show off online learning

View full versionEAST WENATCHEE — Columbia Virtual Academy staff will demonstrate how the online alternative learning program works at a June 19 event from 1 to 4 p.m. at Eastmont Junior High, 270 9th St. N.E.
The academy bills itself as the most flexible public alternative to brick-and-mortar schools. It’s a statewide, tuition-free program.
Hundreds of curriculum choices will be on display at the June 19 event, with many computer kiosks featuring curriculum options. The open forum event has no scheduled presentations.
